My name is Lauren, and I\u2019m a residency-trained feline veterinarian with a passion for cats, teaching, and adventure. I can often be found teaching, lecturing, or planning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catster.com\/guides\/hiking-with-a-cat\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\">the next outdoor adventure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been honored to work with various veterinary organisations and groups over the years, many of them non-profit. I highly recommend looking at the work these groups are doing, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/vinfoundation.org\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">VIN Foundation<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/catvets.com\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">American Association of Feline Practitioners<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/icatcare.org\/veterinary\/isfm\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">International Society of Feline Medicine<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/everycat.org\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Winn Feline Foundation<\/a>. I\u2019ve met some amazing clinicians and people in all of these groups, and cannot speak enough about the work they are doing for felines, and feline medicine, as well as the future of the profession that is caring for our cats.
